Euler's brilliancy to find iota(i) and how he inspired someone to develop a number:
Tragically when there were no real values of the equation X²+1=0 than it was very difficult to get the roots of the equation. But Euler the very great mathematician imagined a number √-1 and put it in the equation X²+1=0 which satisfied it. So since Euler imagined this number so it defined as (i) having value√-1.
How he encourages someone:
Let's consider ...a equation X²+1/3=0 which also do not have any real values so by not imagining but due to Euler's approach put x=√-1/3 it satisfies equation so it could be regarded as a number developed by punit also known as punit's number. Punit no =√-1/3 which is being related to Euler as p.n=i×√1/3..so credit to Euler for inspiring number of guys to develop it's own number related by iota .
Mathematics is literally very best way to enhance if one have dedication like the great mathematician Euler ..and all mathematicians who are working and worked to develop in this field .
