Solutions for number system:


1. Since x>or=0  so number will lie on positive side of number line.
Types of no possible would be:a) whole number;b) rational number;c) positive integral numbers;d) positive fractional numbers.


2.since 1/√2 and 1/√3 are irrational numbers so zero rational no will lie.


3.(2+√2)(2+√2)=a+b√
  
  = 4+4√2 +2 =a+b√2
 = 6+4√2= a+b√2
  
  Therefore a=6 and b=4 
   
Now to find 1/a√3+b√2 we have to put a=6 and b=4.
 
Thus 1/6√3+4√2 rationalise and get ..          6√3-4√2/76 .

4 and 5 questions are of very basic level so can easily be done.

 
6. (√a+b)²= (a+√b)²
  
    a+2×√a×b +b²= a²+2×a×√b +b
 
Put a=9 in above equation and get b=±4/9 

So a/b= 9/4/9 =81/4.

(X+√Y)²/X²-Y
Put X=2 and Y =1 we get the value 3.
Which is equal to RHS.
